Titanic

Remembered this classic pose? What an amazing pose that they got! Stand on the prow, extend their arms, just relax and breath, feeling the world, feels like flying!

This pose was made popular by the 1997 epic romance and disaster film, Titanic. The film depicts the longing of freedom and the love between first class Rose and third class Jack. Even though there was a major difference in social class, they managed to find their own freedom and fall in love.

Many people can sense that same feeling when doing that pose, and it is universally known. You could find numerous photos of people embracing that pose everywhere, from boats to chairs :)

The jump!

If you’re going to spend ages and ages between the ceremony and the reception posing for the camera, why not make it interesting?

This pose requires much more skill and great timing is needed to capture this pose. It requires the subject to jump from the ground and the photographer captures the subject mid-air.


This popular pose was developed by American portrait photographer, Phlippe Halsman. He once stated: "When you ask a person to jump, his attention is mostly directed toward the act of jumping and the mask falls so that the real person appears." 


The photographer developed a philosophy of jump photography, which he called jumpology.

Mirror Luvos

Take a picture of a mirror with you in it of course and even with your friends ! You can do this anywhere , in the bathroom , in your bedroom , in the elevator anywhere with a mirror!!

How to take good mirror photos and poses:

1. 1. If you must use a flash, hold your camera far away from your body. This will minimize the amount of white light you see obstructing your body.
   2. If you don't use a flash, hold your camera very still to avoid blurriness.

   3. Hold your camera at an angle above yourself. Holding it below your eye level will make the bottom half of your body look bigger.

   4. Make sure your room is nice and light, without shining a light right on your face. You don't want harsh shadows.

   5. Emphasize your eyes with makeup. Make sure your face and hair is clean because grease and oil is emphasized in photos.

   6. Be careful of reflections, and of what you have in the background.

Whip Yo Hair

I whip my hair back and forth !!!

Girls doing some hairography or flipping their hair back like Arial from the little mermaid , either way hot stuff! :D  

This pose was popularised by Willow's Smith's catchy song "I Whip my Hair Back and Forth." In the video, she goes crazy with the hair whipping and this has inspired people to 'whip' their hair while taking photos. The end effect? A fun, crazy photo! :)

Raise Your Leg

Raise ur leg up or get a friend to hold it , if u wanna look a bit more classy kick up backwards like the girl in the last photo  ;)

This pose is fun and seductive! It is very popular among girls and their friends. 

The main subject of the photo is the leg and damn, dont they look great?  

This pose is more classy than the ones above. It reminds me of a fairytale, where the guy kisses the girl and she raises her leg. So sweet and cute! :)

Reow

 Meow , Reow , pur your fingers together like little cat paws , purse your lips and you're cute as a kitty

The name is pretty self-explanatory, the cat pose! This pose requires the subject to pose like a cat. You guys must be wondering why? haha its all for a bit of fun, and plus, its kind of cute!

This pose has become pretty popular, with hundreds of images being uploaded online and shared through social networking sites, such as Facebook.

Puck You

Be cool and stick your middle fingers up cos thats the way to do it , nothing rude intended just adds a little bit of swagger to your pics ;)

In Western countries, the middle finger is an offensive and obscene gesture, colloquially known as 'giving the finger'. It is usually an insult to the person it is directed to. However, this gesture has lost much of its meaning in recent years, with people using it as poses in photographs. It is not taken offensively and its just another fun addition to the photo; something different i guess.
